Polk County Clerk of Courts & Comptroller / Bartow, FL 

Hayley was promoted in 2019 to Public Relations Specialist to help form a new Public Relations department. In her current position, Hayley manages all internal and external communication strategies, including inception, design, copywriting, imagery and distribution through Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Suite. This includes, but is not limited to, internal employee communication, community education and engagement, media relations, and inter-constitutional communication, and development of all printed, electronic, photo and video-based content for communication information to target audiencees. Hayley manages all social media accounts for the Clerk's office and has experience using Hootsuite to schedule and monitor media posts and traffic. Social media engagement rose by roughly 60% after Hayley took the position. Hayley represents the elected Clerk and Comptroller in all educational outreach efforts in order to inform the public about the role of the Clerk and the services the office provides.

PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST

Bull Bay Tackle Company / Lakeland, FL / 2015-Present

As Bull Bay Tackle Company's growth continues to skyrocket, Hayley has continued to grow within the role of Public Relations Specialist to help oversee the company's marketing and communications. In this role she working to do a complete overhaul of the company's brand in order to amplify the company's current growth by making the brand's physical and digital presence even more desirable to the company's clientele. Hayley is working side-by-side with the CEO to create visually pleasing photo and video content to promote the product online, in stores, and at trade show events. Hayley is also tapping into potential new audiences and developing plans to reach women and minorities in the fishing industry through diverse brand ambassadors and a new female-sponsored rod. She also provides written copy for the Bull Bay website and trade show materials, social media services, and designed printed marketing  materials for trade shows and dealers. Most recently she helped coordinate relief efforts for the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian.

SPORTS INFORMATION OFFICE

Florida State University Athletics / Tallahassee Florida / 2015-2016

As an intern with Florida State Athletics in the Sports Information Office, Hayley was selected to produce bi-monthly short form content for the Student Athletic Advisory Council, which was feature on seminoles.com. Other regular duties included assisting with game day functions for a variety of teams, most notably the football and basketball teams. Duties included delivering game statistics from the analysts to the head coaches, recording and transcribing post-game audio of coaches and players for use in media and FSU Athletics publications, assisting in the development of the football media guide in InDesign, and creating live social media posts during games. Hayley was also selected to oversee the player interview process from start to finish by creating questions, interviewing players, compiling quotes, and transcribing audio. Most notably, she had a starting player's interview featured in the gameday program for the FSU Vs. Louisville football game.
